Packed in Caroline

About 6 a.m., the line at Dawn School in the Reedy-Church District in Caroline was all the way from the school library to the highway, about 50 yards away. It was packed.

Somebody waiting in line was hit by a car. Their injuries are unknown, but are not believed to be serious.

About 12 workers are inside and workers brought computers out to disabled voters so they could vote from their cars.

Caroline High School students are out handing out election literature as part of a history class project. They’re not old enough to vote, but wanted to participate in the historic election.
