A concert this Saturday hopes to raise money for a local baby fighting leukemia. Tania Lewis Semekula will perform a Sabbath afternoon vespers/benefit concert at the Fredericksburg Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Spotsylvania County. A love offering will be taken to help Kira Anne Glock.
The 1-year old Spotsylvania girl has Down Syndrome and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. She is receiving treatment at UVA hospital.
The concert will be Saturday, July 31, 5:30 p.m. at the church on 6052 Plank Rd. in Spotsylvania.
