The Haggards’ Visit

Ted and Gayle Haggard will be at Lifepoint Church on Sunday. I realized in the last blog post, I didn’t give the details, for those who want to attend. Lifepoint meets at Riverbend High School at 9:15 and 11:30 a.m. For details, visit Lifepoint’s website.

I am really tired of hearing their sordid tale and how they have been “forgiven”. In the old days, Ted would have retired to a monastery and Gayle to a nunnery. I do feel sorry for them since neither has been trained in a useful or honorable profession and so they are compelled to tour the country in order to make a living.

I hate to be the one to say this but you either know the LORD or you don’t folks. There is no middle road. How a person would or could support these people is beyond me. People need to read GODS WORD AND PRAY FOR KNOWLEDGE.He can help you just ask. God Bless You All and seperate your self from sinfull people.

Ted and Gayle are the masters of emotion, and it does pay well and often times followed by applause and standing ovations. Take their message home with you and ask yourself whether you are willing to testify your sins in front of 1,200 parishioners and see what your CPA has to say about your return on investment. Ted and Gayle will be fine and you will show up again, if for no other reason than you have not yet been found out. What could be better than to sit in judgement seated among 1,200 parishions and walk from the service with a smile on your face.

    reply to Stonewall park:

Ive been reading GODS WORD and couldn’t help but notice that the ultimate example of how we should live, found in Jesus, is completely contradictory to your statement of “separate your self from sinful people” I would suggest perhaps another reading of GODS WORD and an examination of Christ as your model for life.
