Giraffes have now been declared kosher. I’m not sure if this has any actual useful implications, but people have been having some fun with it. Check out these reports from The Colbert Report and Jewcy.com. Basically, the argument is that giraffes have cloven feet and chew their cud, which technically meet the requirements found in the Torah.
