Lars and the Real Girl

I absolutely loved this movie and found it very spiritual. Beliefnet interviewed the director and the star about the spiritual aspects of the film. Unfortunately, it’s not showing anywhere locally.

Amy, Sometimes as believers in God we can get lazy & quite thinking things through. It is exciting to me to see that you are open to finding truth, whereever it can be found. Interestingly enough, this Sunday I’m preaching on a theme that fits this movie entitled: More of God in Your Life. We often talk about our need for being accepted and for belonging. But rarely to believers talk about our need to feel attractive. I find it amazing that God has done that to us. He delights in us. – Vincent Klug
